Your Well-Being Is in Good Hands
For many years now, I have worked to provide my clients with a safe and caring atmosphere, where their unique goals are reached. I utilize an eclectic approach, meaning that I pull from a variety of theoretical perspectives to provide my clients with the best care possible.
When working through life's challenges, I combine both my clinical training and expertise with my education and personal experiences to create an arena for personal growth and change.
With extensive experience providing therapy to adults, families, children, and adolescents, I can assist you in establishing better communication patterns, learning positive coping skills, and developing healthy family relationships.
"Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. The way you cope with it, is what makes the difference."

A Happier, Healthier You
Child and Adolescent Therapy
Child and adolescent therapy focuses on helping to improve a child's quality of life. I have extensive experience in assisting children and adolescents who have problems in school, at home, or with developing and maintaining friendships. Some children have difficulty expressing their feelings and concerns verbally. With these children, I utilize art therapy, sand tray therapy, play therapy, along with traditional talk therapy. Some signs that a child may be in need of professional help include:
Decline in grades.
Disruptive behaviors at home or school.
Isolating.
Feelings of hopelessness and despair.
Change in eating or sleeping habits.
Anxiety.
Individual Therapy for Adults
Individual therapy is geared toward achieving more satisfaction and meaning from one's life and one's choices. Psychotherapy allows individuals to better understand their emotional and interpersonal life, therefore improving their quality of life. I provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. With sensitivity and compassion, I help clients find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues.
FAMILY THERAPY
Here For You
Parent Education and Support
While assisting parents in resolving power struggles, arguments, and problem behaviors, I am able to help them stengthen the relationships with their children. Through providing parents with tools for setting appropriate limits and creating clear expectations, families are able to achieve and restore meaningful communication patterns. Skills that parents find helpful to fine tune include:
Understanding appropriate developmental behaviors for children and adolescents.
Addressing boundaries.
Developing ways to communicate with children who have difficulty talking about feelings.
FEES AND INSURANCE
Serving Patients Since 2000
My practice is a fee-for-service, as I am not currently on any health insurance panels. However, if your health insurance carrier allows you to choose an out-of-network provider, services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I would be more than happy to provide you with a superbill, detailing receipt of services, which you may send to your insurance company.
Please call me to discuss my current fees. If I am unable to accommodate your financial situation, I will try my best to assist you in finding appropriate referrals.
PLEASE NOTE
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
